The Splash Zone 4/27/23: The NFL Draft is here

[ad_1]

The first round of the 2023 NFL Draft kicks off tonight, but it should be a quiet one for the Miami Dolphins. The team doesn’t have a first round selection due to tampering charges, so the Dolphins don’t pick until the second round (#51). The team could still find a solid contributor with that selection. Perhaps one of the top offensive line prospects falls and the Dolphins could snatch one up. The most popular pick for the Dolphins though is tight end.

This year’s class is loaded with talent and the Dolphins should be able to pick from a handful of good prospects with the second and maybe their third if they decide to do something else with their second. It also wouldn’t be surprising if the team trades back to accumulate another pick or two.

You can check out that story here, and the rest of the day’s round-up below.
