On Sunday, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts will make history by becoming the first two black quarterbacks to start in the same Super Bowl.

Each quarterback—each of them a captain of their crew—spoke about it through the league’s “Opening Evening” media event on Monday evening in Phoenix.
