A new season means a new disaster for one of the best pals in the heart of the Prime Video comedy Harlem. (The primary two Season 2 episodes premiered on Friday; two new episodes will stream weekly.)

Continuing where we left off, Ian and Camille were interrupted mid-kiss by his fiancée Mira, who pretended not to notice what they were doing at first. She couldn’t keep up the act for long and stormed off after accusing them of betraying her a second time—along with kissing at the Titanic social gathering in Season 1—before storming off.

Camille, unable to deal with the tense state of affairs, additionally walked out and confronted Quinn, who was in a significantly better temper. After discovering the bravery to ask Isabella on a date, the up-and-coming clothier discovered that Vogue was going to interview her.

All the women gathered for drinks and to gossip over Camille’s present mess. She hadn’t heard again from Ian since Mira was referred to as “off the marriage” and she or he gave up her job over the cellphone while drunk and partying with Quinn. Though the faculty teacher didn’t regret kissing Ian, she didn’t need to bring up issues with him again in the midst of all this drama. Oh, and she or he wanted to interrupt Jameson’s conversation and go see Dr. Pruitt (visiting star Whoopi Goldberg) to beg for her job once more.

On the way to the nail salon, Quinn expressed fear over her upcoming date. She was new to being queer and didn’t know what she was doing. “What if I don’t know what to do sexually with Isabella?” she requested her pals. Tye’s recommendation to do what she usually does with herself wouldn’t work since that concerned watching Shemar Moore on Felony Minds. While Camille went to patch up issues with Dr. Pruitt, Tye volunteered to help Quinn purchase intercourse toys.

Dr. Pruitt sternly lectured Camille for her career-threatening habits, but she didn’t outright say no to permitting her to maintain her job. A win is a win.

Elsewhere, Angie discovered herself hooking up with her hunky nail tech, Kendrick. An unhoused good friend predicted that she would discover herself with probably the most good-looking man in New York who would flip her luck around, and the handsome stranger appeared to suit the invoice. (As you’ll recall, Angie’s massive break was a bust after Get Out: The Musical shut down as a consequence of a cease-and-desist letter from Jordan Peele.) Angie then met Kendrick’s equally engaging roommate Jaquan and, naturally, pretended to have an identical twin sister to get the person’s quantity.

Keep in mind when Tye wound up in the hospital due to her fibroids. Her estranged husband Brandon’s harsh phrases about her being lonely with only a handful of pals hit hard, and she or he stopped right into a pet retailer to ponder whether or not to adopt a pet.

Ian’s household was not proud of Camille, who dropped by to apologize for her role in ruining the marriage. As she was leaving, she bumped into Mira, who once more instructed her off and urged her to come clean about her actions. Camille was sufficiently impressed to return to Dr. Pruitt’s to explain why she felt compelled to quit in the first place and to resign after fulfilling her contractual obligations.

Harlem Season 2Jaquan was under the impression that Angie had a twin sister until the singer/actress revealed otherwise. She was nearing doing a little self-introspection on her scheming methods but was instantly distracted by Jaquan’s abs, amongst other issues.

Tye didn’t find herself adopting a pet since that was too much of a commitment for her. As a substitute, she opted for being a plant mother. What could possibly go wrong for the lady who has never cared about anything but herself? Seconds after she named her new plant Megan Thee Cactus, the tech entrepreneur accidentally dropped it into the garbage disposal.

“What the f—okay is improper with me?” she requested herself. “Woman, we’re asking about the identical factor, too.”
